Amazon DSP adds retailer-level omnichannel metrics and shoppable Samsung TV ads
Amazon sharpens attribution across retailers while turning Samsung TVs into checkout screens.

Amazon is tightening the link between its ads and real sales beyond its own store. In July 2026 Amazon added retailer level breakouts to its Omnichannel Metrics for US Amazon DSP advertisers, letting brands see how DSP campaigns influenced purchases at specific retailers, not just on Amazon. That is a direct answer to one of retail media's oldest complaints, thin and closed attribution.
Amazon also partnered with Samsung to bring interactive, remote enabled video ads to Samsung TV Plus, with an add to cart option that lets viewers buy from the couch.
Together the two moves push Amazon further up and down the funnel, from shoppable CTV at the top to clearer cross retailer measurement at the bottom.
For brands that sell across multiple retailers, the retailer level view is worth testing quickly, since better attribution usually reveals that budgets are misallocated in ways that are easy to fix.
